Eagles Radio Network FAQ

1) I turn down the sound on the TV and crank up 94 WYSP but Merrill calls the plays too early!  What's going on?

A: 94 WYSP is very aware of this situation.  94 WYSP makes every attempt to add a small amount of delay in our broadcast to match our audio with Comcast's Digital TV feed.  The truth is, there are many different ways to watch games these days; Rabbit ears, Analog cable, Digital cable, HDTV off-air, HDTV cable, TiVo, DirectTV, Dish Network.. the list goes on and on.  They all go through different types of processing and end up arriving at your TV at various different times.

Solutions:

-If you have a DVR, like TiVo or Comcast's DVR, (and Merrill calls the play before it happens on TV) you can sync the audio with the video simply by pausing the video for a moment, then starting it back up again.  It might take 2 or 3 tries to get it right but it can be done!

-Check out the links below.  Some have had success using these radios.  You can tune in WYSP and adjust the amount of delay yourself to add to the broadcast.  (Keep in mind these will only work if you hear Merrill make the play call and then it happens on TV.  It won't work the other way around).

2) I'm trying to listen to the game on 94WYSP.com's LIVE stream but i can't hear it!  What's going on?

A: 94 WYSP has the rights to broadcast the full Eagles Schedule on the radio, but not on the internet.  The NFL holds the internet streaming rights for themselves.  So as much as we would love to make every game available online to you we're forced to "black out" all games but the ones listed below on our internet stream.

Other solution:
Check out NFL Field Pass at www.nfl.com  For a fee, you can hear Merrill and Mike calling the games there.
The NFL also makes the audio available for purchase from iTunes after the game is over.

Thank you for listening to 94 WYSP and Eagles Radio Network!
